L & A Testing, Computation & Canvassing and Absentee Voting

March 21, 2023, Special Election

Pursuant to O.C.G.A & 21.2-379.6 (c) notice is hereby given that the logic and accuracy testing on the voting equipment to be used in the March 21,2023 Special Election in Twiggs County will be publicly performed in the Board of Elections and Registrations office 425 Railroad Street North, Jeffersonville, Ga 31044 Rm #123.  Testing on all voting equipment will begin on Tuesday February 7, 20203, beginning at 10 am and will continue from day to day until completed.  Members of the public are invited to observe the preparation and testing of all equipment to be used.   The election supervisor and registrar/clerk and staff will conduct testing.  Pursuant to O.C.G.A & 21-2-492 Computation, canvassing, and certification of election results will begin on Wednesday March 22,2023, unless otherwise posted and will continue from day to day until complete.

 The last date to register to vote in the March 21, 2023, Special Election is February 20, 2023.  Earliest date to begin Absentee Voting by mail begins on February 27,2023 – March 10, 2023.  Advance Voting (in-person will begin on February 27, 2023, through February 4,2023. 2022 & March 6, 2023- March 11, 2023 (Monday through Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Monday March 13, 2023, through March 17, 2023 (Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.

Election Day voting is March 21, 2023, at 7: 00a.m to 7:00 p.m. at your assign polling location.  We’re located in the courthouse in the Elections & Registrar’s Office Rm# 123.
