NOTICE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE TO CONSIDER AMENDING PORTIONS OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF TWIGGS COUNTY, GEORGIA, TO REPEAL AND REPLACE THE EXISTING ANIMAL CONTROL REGULATIONS FOUND IN SECTIONS 450.101, 450.102, and 450.103; TO PROVIDE FOR SEVERABILITY; TO PROVIDE FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE, AND FOR OTHER LAWFUL PURPOSES
Notice is hereby given that at the November 3, 2022 regularly scheduled Board of Commission Meeting, a proposed ordinance will be considered to repeal and replace the existing Animal Control Regulations currently found in Sections 450.101, 450-102, and 450.103 of the Official Code of Twiggs County, Georgia.
The meeting will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022, beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the Superior Court Courtroom (Temporary Location for Board of Commission Meetings for social distancing), in the Twiggs County Courthouse located at 425 Railroad Street N, Jeffersonville, Georgia 31044.
A copy of the proposed ordinance to be considered is on file in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Twiggs County and the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission for the purpose of examination and inspection by the public. The Clerk of either Office shall furnish anyone, upon written request, a copy of the proposed ordinance.
